Lifepoint Kids

To ensure your child's security while with us, we use KidCheck to sign-in our children each Sunday.  If you would like to save a little time on your first visit, especially Easter Guests, please pre-register your child(ren) from home right now.  No one has access to this information but you until you check your child in at Lifepoint.  When you check in for the first time, you'll simply need to enter your phone number.

Our Children's Ministry (Lifepoint Kids) creates environments where children become confident in God and connected to those around them.  We believe the greatest need of every generation is to know God intimately and love Him passionately. Our desire is that they become so saturated with the Word of God that they believe Jesus alone is the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of this ministry is to fuel spiritual desire by

exalting the greatness of God.

Our army of volunteers arrives each and every Sunday, prepared and excited to see how God will show up in your children’s classrooms. And yet, we don’t want this one hour to be the end-all for your child’s spiritual development. We believe parents hold the primary place of influence in their children's lives. We want to equip and encourage parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children. By providing you with material that summarizes your child’s weekly experiences and weekly emails, we hope to support you in continuing to talk to your child at home about what they learned on Sunday.

One more thing, we love to create an atmosphere where families can worship God together. For that reason, children who are six years old (1st grade) and up attend the worship service with their family. They will participate with us during a time of singing and praising God and then be dismissed before the message for Elevate. Elevate is especially designed to present God’s Word to your children in creative ways. They also participate in small groups to discuss how to apply what they have learned.

Infants/Toddlers

Babies are never too young to have the Word of God spoken over them. God’s Word accomplishes all it is sent to do and will not return void! At LPC, we’re not just babysitting. We want parents to feel confident that their child will be ministered to while in the nursery. Through praise and worship, “Baby Bible Class,” and prayer, your child will leave the nursery having had a touch from God.

We love and serve babies in the name of Jesus. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, allowing us to teach babies to love the Lord their God with all their hearts, souls, minds and strength as they sit, walk, lie down and get up (Deuteronomy 6). Through that love, we pray that babies will come to know and rely upon God throughout their lives.

2 and 3 year olds

We realize that 2 and 3 year olds are very active so we strive to present God’s word to them in a creative way right at their level. Their classes run the entire morning (9:30 and 10:45) and include Bible time, praise time, play time, snack time, and craft time.

4 and 5 year olds

The 4 and 5 year old class meets at 9:30 a.m. and includes a Bible lesson with fun activities to illustrate the truths they have learned. They also have the option to attend the first portion of the worship service with their family. You will pick them up where you dropped them off and take them with you into the service. After a time of praising and worship God together, the children are then dismissed to their classrooms for a lesson from God’s Word that is prepared for their age level.

1st-6th grades

As soon as your children walk into our Children's Wing, they will see by the awesome artwork that we are excited about God’s Word. This is not just an academic pursuit but a desire that all children would come to know and love the living God through His written Word. At 9:30 a.m. your child is in a class for their age-group where they dig into God’s Word in exciting and creative ways.

Kids are picked up by a parent at 10:30 and join them in the worship service at 10:45. Before the message, the kids in grades 1 through 4 are dismissed for “Elevate”—where they have a message designed just for them. They then break into small groups and discuss how the truth they learned that day applies to their life.

Elevate is optional for 5th graders.  We know many 5th graders are ready to attend the sermon with their parents, and we encourage each family to make that choice for themselves where their childs needs will be best met.  Reach 56 is a ministry just for 5th & 6th Graders!  They meet each Sunday evening at Lifepoint, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.  They also have their own dedicated Sunday School class at 9:30!

Parents and volunteers, we encourage you to read our Policies and Procedures.
